Our company hasbeen operatingsince 1972 and is activated in Imports and Wholesale distribution of drinksand Wines mainly in the Dodecaneseand in general the whole Greek market. Ourgoal is the maximum quality in our products and the excellenceof service to our customers. MAKESTASSA hasa longand remarkable 55-year history in the importand marketingof food and beverages in the Dodecanese market, supplying hotels, restaurants, bars, and S / M. The company was founded by Georgios Makestas with the help of his son Michalis in 1972. In the beginning the company had the legal form of OE (private company) based in the museum square in Rhodes. In 1988 it changed its legal form to SA where it remains until today. In 1974 the company was installed in a facility on Kodrigtonos Street, while in 2001 it moved to new modern privately owned facilities on Foti Kontoglou Street at the 1st km of Rhodes - Kallithea Avenue. The main object of the company in every moment of its history, was the beer trade. Starting from the exclusive representation of "FIX" in Dodecanese and continuing with the introduction for the first time in Greece of "Stella Artois" where it made it famous first in Rhodes and then in the rest of Greece. In recent years, the company's portfolio has been strengthened with many big names not only in the field of beer but also in the field of water, soft drinks, wine, juices, etc. Since 2009 it imports and distributes energy drink BLU for all of Greece while since 2011 it imports and distributes the English cider STOWFORD PRESS, the fastest growing cider in the English market. Represents for the Dodecanese the Cypriot juices KEAN and the Astoria wines from Italy. It has a strategic partnership with Olympic Brewery group for Rhodes, etc .... New particularly close and promising collaborations are planned directly by the company with the immediate goal of establishing itself in the market as a Leader in the field of Wines, spirits and beverages. A later goal is the development of the sales network in the rest of Greece with steady and studied steps, offering friendly service, excellent product quality, and strategic collaborations with its suppliers as shown by its course so far.
