We stir up the future of bars since 2010

In 2010, "The Bar Academy Show" debuted at the Metropolitan Expo with nine exhibitors, marking the start of a bold tradition for the bar industry. Each year saw growing support from industry companies.In 2012, the event was renamed the "Athens Bar Show" and moved to "The Hub Events" in central Athens, offering easier and safer access via public transport. The show's reputation grew, leading to its relocation to the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens in 2014, attracting diverse participants from Greece and abroad.By 2018, the Athens Bar Show had reached new heights, with attendees discovering over 500 products and participating in more than 70 seminars, talks, tastings, workshops, and masterclasses. Despite the challenges of 2021, the event rebounded strongly in the following years, with high expectations for 2024.The Athens Bar Show has become a cherished event for the global bar community, dedicated to education, industry networking, and sharing knowledge, ideas, and inspiration for all professionals who attend.

Our History

2010 - 2011

In 2010, it started as "The Bar Academy Show" at the Metropolitan Expo near Athens airport. With 9 exhibitors and around 1,000 visitors, it aimed to become the go-to event for the bar industry. Over time, the Athens Bar Show gained support from every company in the industry, directly or indirectly.

2012 - 2014

In 2012, the Athens Bar Show relocated to "The Hub Events" in central Athens, offering visitors safer and more accessible access via public transportation. By 2013, visitor numbers surged to 3,000, prompting the move to a larger venue in 2014, namely Technopolis Municipality of Athens.

2015 - 2016

The exhibition experienced rapid growth, with 7,000 visitors in 2015 and 8,000 in 2016. It's considered one of the world's favoritew bar shows, emphasizing education and knowledge dissemination. Organized by Bar Academy Hellas, visitors can explore trends, products, and successful business models, and participate in seminars and workshops.

2017 - 2019

In 2017, the "Athens Bar Show" attracted 8,500 attendees, featuring more than 50 exhibitors from both Greece and other countries. The following year, in 2018, the event saw 9,000 visitors hailing from 47 different countries. Attendees had the opportunity to sample over 500 products and witness over 70 demonstrations. By 2019, the "Athens Bar Show" surpassed the milestone of 10,000 visitors.

2021 - 2023

In 2020, the Athens Bar Show was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, in 2021, it made a comeback, drawing in 7,000 attendees. The event experienced its most remarkable resurgence in 2022, with a staggering turnout of 12,000 visitors. By 2023, attendance soared even further, surpassing 17,000 attendees, underscoring its immense potential.
