Originally from Tuscany, Giacomo Giannotti grew up in the family Gelateria. following his passion for Mixology he decided to fly first to London and then in Barcelona. here he opens Paradiso best bar in the world for the worlds 50 best bars and ranking in 2022 and fourth one in 2023, paradiso lab a second cocktail bar Galileo and in 2022 a third bar ;Monke speakeasy-style cocktail bar just a few minutes walk from Paradiso .in 2022 he and his team also start Paradiso sustainability summit the first festival about sustainability in the bar industry. Born in 1988 in Carrara, a small town on the coast of Tuscany, Italy, Giacomo GIannotti has pursued his great interest in hospitality from a very young age, thanks to the family business ,Gelateria Paradiso. While studying and the hotellerie school, he discovered his passion for the bar and mixology to which he devoted himself completely. He first moved to London where he got in touch with the international scene of mixology and there for 4 years he trained as a bartender and refined his technique behind the bar of eclipse cocktail bar and thanks to the experience with Be at one. he then decides to move to Barcelona . Here he immediately stands out of his skills behind the bar and his ability to create genuine connections with the customers. A first experience the eclipse bar of W hotel in Barcelona, and then at Ohla hotel where he has the opportunity to learn the secrets of hospitality from his now friend Giuseppe SantaMaria. At the end of 2015, she fulfils his dream of opening his own cocktail bar Paradiso. The speakeasy style cocktail bar is accessed thought a retro style fridge door inside a pastrami bar.Sinuously shaped wood to recall the sea of Barcelona ,Carrara marble for the bar to recall his Toscan origins and the bond with his family tropical design elements and a speakeasy inside the speakeasy. In Paradiso we find an interesting and captivating mix that impresses tradition and modernity in an elegant young and fun atmosphere. In 2020 she open GaliLeo,his second cocktail bar in Barcelona, a cocktail bistro with an industrial chic design that offers a modern reinterpretation of the Italian aperitif, offering a menu of innovative signature cocktails and tapas with traditional flavours of Italian cuisine signed by chef Gabriel Milani. A place with a perfect Italian Spanish soul, an elegant service and caring staff. In the same period projects such a Paradiso lab and a others linked to sustainability also came to life. In 2022 Giacomo and his team organised the first edition of Paradiso sustainability summit a yearly event that quickly was recognised globally as the first festival about sustainability in the bar industry.
