Tommaso Cecca

Originally from Bari, Tommaso Cecca began his professional career in hospitality at a young age, working in Puglia where he made his first espresso at just fourteen years old. At age twenty, Tommaso decided to move to London where he became immersed in the bar and cocktail scene, quickly gaining high-end knowledge and experience. During his time in London, Tommaso met fashion designer Roberto Cavalli who brought him back to Milan to become the Bar Manager at his new restaurant. In 2008, he became Bar Manager and Head Mixologist at Trussardi where he stayed for over eleven years and developed his passion for hospitality. In 2018, his journey with Camparino began as he became the Store Manager & Head Bartender. Today, Tommaso is the Head of Licensing & Mixology at Camparino, the historic bar in Milan overlooking the Duomo. In his current role, Tommaso is responsible for supporting the international expansion of Camparino by transporting the successful Milanese flagship abroad, allowing everyone to experience what the iconic bar has to offer. Given his expertise and international credibility within the Mixology and Bartenders community, Tommaso plays a crucial role in global brand building, acting as Camparino’s spokesperson. Tommaso led a team of 40 working to deliver memorable experiences for all patrons that come through Camparino’s doors, working tirelessly to experiment on creating new cocktails, often in a laboratory carefully selecting each ingredient. The historic bar serves a huge number of cocktails a day, showcasing the Camparino team’s creativity, innovation, and passion for the art of cocktail making. Tommaso has also successfully led Camparino to be placed in the World’s 50 Best Bar list, maintaining the bar’s international presence.
