Alesandro D’Alesio, currently head bartender at Rita’s Tiki Room in Milan, began his career in mixology in 2014 after attending a bartender course. His journey took him to London, where he had the chance to work with chef Robin Gill and deepen his knowledge of agave spirits at Bodega Negra Mexicana. These experiences helped refine his techniques and creativity behind the bar. Upon returning to Italy during the challenging pandemic period, he found new inspiration at Rita’s Tiki Room, where he further developed his style. In 2024, D’Alessio participated in the Campari Bartender Competition and won the tenth edition with his cocktail Linea Rossa, an innovative twist on the Negroni with an exotic touch. His victory was attributed not only to the quality of his drink but also to his strong stage presence and ability to engage the audience.
